Cranberry Orange Relish- perfect with turkey!

Are you tired of the same old cranberry sauce from the can? Eewww! That stuff is horrible (in my opinion)! Are you ready for something fresh that’s both sweet and tart? I’d love for you to try a recipe for cranberry relish my mom made every holiday season. She used an old grinder, but a food processor or blender should work also. So simple, it’s only three ingredients!


1 package cranberries- frozen

1 large juicy orange, cut in wedges (Keep the peelings on!)

1/3 cup sugar


Here’s my mom’s old antique grinder!

Grind or process one package of frozen cranberries and all the orange wedges, leaving peels on. Combine together in a bowl and add 1/3 cup of sugar, more or less, depending how sweet or tart you like it.

Mix well and refrigerate. It’s best to prepare this a few days ahead, for the flavors to blend together. Enjoy!
