Recently, my daughter ordered a letter jacket at school. As she was picking out patches, she told me of her choice to put a Bible verse reference near her name patch.
She liked one we had previously memorized at church. It’s about hope, which offers so much promise, and has been a blessing to me.
“May The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13 NIV
ABOUND: To be great in number or amount
Would you love to abound in hope? To put an end to negativity or despair? We can abound in hope when we trust the Holy Spirit. He gives comfort, peace, rest, guidance, teaches us to obey, and guides us into all truth.
There is no room for doubt or fear when we abound in hope. Try memorizing this verse so the next time you face discouragement, you will abound in hope, instead.
