Replenish

After a demanding day it’s important to replenish what’s been depleted.

When the weekend hits, I am especially ready for rest and refreshment. What about you?

One thing that usually gets set on the shelf for later is my love of fiber arts. I’m amazed how each time I pick up a pair of knitting needles or sit down at my spinning wheel, I get relaxed and replenished!

Even a small, quick, project is enough to re-energize and restore my joy.

When we get replenished, then we are better equipped to minister to others.

What energizing activity do you love to do? Gardening? Ceramics? Maybe a small knitting or art project is just the thing!

Two online friends @djhejtmanek and @lorijeanwhitaker on Instagram are fabulous at painting. Maybe you are, too?

Find something new to try or re-visit a hobby you’ve forgotten about. Whatever energizes you, bringing peace and joy, is worth the soul care. Have fun!

  1. Deb,
What a great reminder that we need to take the time to replenish instead of continuing to strive long after we’re empty. I like to replenish by spending time in my craft room (rubber stamping and making cards and other projects). Hope you had a Merry Christmas and that you go into the new year refreshed.
