I love the encouragement Haggai, the prophet, gives to those in charge of rebuilding the temple:
“O, Zerubbabel, Be strong!
O, Joshua, Be strong!
All you people of the land, Be strong and do the work. For I am with you, declares the Lord. And my spirit remains among you. DO NOT FEAR.”
We need this spurring on, too! Our work is not finished. Whether it be folding laundry, healing from betrayal, or encouraging others—teaching young people, ministering to the sick or rocking a baby. Whatever your work is, press on. Be strong!
