Depending on God

Dear Newly Betrayed,

You’re learning to be honest with yourself and in time, you’ll find ways to be honest with others about the struggles you face—even when no one you know can relate.

As you grapple with trust issues, you’ll learn to depend upon God more than ever, clinging to his love and leadership—to guide you out of the dark days of doubt.

When your husband comes home disheveled, unwilling to confess his betrayal and refusing to join you in counseling, you will cry out to God, for an end to the chaos.

Even when you feel like the obstacles are insurmountable. Even if Jesus doesn’t answer your prayers immediately, in the way you want. He knows the walls before you. He knows you. He sees you. You will learn to trust Him as He cares for you.

“See, I have engraved you on the palm of my hand; your walls are ever before me.”

Isaiah 49:16 NIV
