God is so eager to bless us!
In Haggai Chapter 2, the people relaid the foundation for the temple. God did not wait for the whole building to be rebuilt, but immediately blessed them for their obedience.
God needed willing hearts and hands. He provided the resources.
Who’s willing to take the first step in obedience? Is there something God has called you to do?
God called his people out of defiling themselves from sinful ways, and when they turned to Him, they became empowered by His Holy Spirit, and received a promise of blessing from that day on. (Haggai 2:18)
Whenever we renounce sin, blessings await. We walk with God again. What could be better than that?
