“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8

Rock of Refuge, Righteous Deliverer, Rescuer, Redeemer, Strong Fortress, Leader, Guide, Giver of Steadfast Love, See-er, Know-er, Trustworthy, Gracious, Shame-remover, Strength-giver.

These are God-attributes we find in Psalm 31.

Philippians 4:8 tells us to think about things that are true, pure, etc., but it’s easy to be distracted by other thoughts. Turn to Psalm 31 and read it carefully, noticing all God’s characteristics. Your weary heart will feel rested and your mind will be assured you are not forgotten.
