Wish You Had His Energy?

Do you have an energizer bunny in your life? They just keep going and going and going? I often wonder, “Are they ever going to stop? What does their Sabbath look like—do they ever rest?”

I don’t like comparing, but part of me wonders how they have so much energy and another part of me is envious, wishing I had their energy.

Maybe it’s because my heart feels heavy lately. Feeling a bit weak. Anyone else? So how do we regain our strength again? God tells us it’s by delighting and putting our hope in Him.

“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Walking through the healing process of betrayal is draining. Grief and sorrow show up uninvited. Do you have a battle buddy yet? DM me if you’d like to talk. With Jesus as our Living Hope, we can press on, together. 💗

  1. My morning reading was another passage about waiting and I thought I’d share it. Then I noticed that my Bible referenced Isaiah 40:31to this verse! ‘From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides you, who acts for those who wait for him. You meet him who joyfully works righteousness, those who remember you in your ways.’ Isaiah 64:4-5a

    1. A favorite verse of mine. I’m certain I recently wrote a post on it—because waiting is being and doing. Love the part about God acting for those who wait on Him. Thank you, Paula. 💖
