The Ultimate Valentine

A valentine we all need—

If you know my story, you can believe I get a lot of questions such as, “Well what about this person? They’ve been this way since childhood. They have always struggled.”

So here’s a word on sexual sin. And yes, sin is sin and we are all prone to sin. Our resource, the Bible, tells us we are ALL sinners.

“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:23-24)

There’s nothing gray about sin. God knows it all —sexual sin or whatever sin—before it ever happens. There are no surprises for God. He may allow sin to happen, but a Holy God hates it and cannot have it in His presence. He loves us enough, and hates sin so much, He provides a way out for sinners: salvation through Jesus. He wants NO ONE to perish.

This gift is freely given to ALL sinners—no one is beyond redemption. Jesus paid the ultimate price, sacrificing himself on the cross to give us such a gift. To receive the gift we need to accept Him and choose the path leading to life.

God doesn’t force anyone to obey Him or believe His word is true. We can’t force anyone, either. It isn’t our job to convince them to repent—the Holy Spirit does not need our help. The choice is up to each of us. We each need to ask God for forgiveness.

Still not sure about God’s love and mercy? It’s ready and waiting for us when we come to him.

There are no excuses. It’s straightforward—and what it boils down to is this: Either we choose God’s ways (life)or we choose sin (death). Period.

Sound harsh? It’s not—considering what Jesus went through—He paid the penalty for sin, ALL because He loves us. ✝️

He gives us the Ultimate Valentine. ❤️
