Israelites needed rescuing and deliverance from the hand of their Egyptian oppressors.
Ukrainians need rescuing and deliverance from the hand of Putin.
Betrayed women need rescuing and deliverance from the hand of addicted/abusive men.
But the worst danger, one we all face, is rescue and deliverance from hell because of our sin.
But here is the good news: Jesus has destroyed death. God gave us his only son, that WHOSOEVER believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. God’s hand is always extended to rescue and deliver the perishing.
