Grateful for Aaron’s?

“As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset.” Exodus 17:11-12 NIV

So grateful for the “Aarons” and “Hurs” in my life. The ones there to hold me when the battle is too strong to fight alone. The ones who keep me steady. Constant companions, showing up exactly when needed, no doubt prompted by God’s Holy Spirit.

Who are your “Aarons”? Maybe the sister who checks up on you, a friend who texts an encouragement, or the battle buddy in your support group? Let them know you’re grateful.

Could you be an Aaron for someone else? Who comes to mind?
