I sometimes need reminders God is trustworthy and in control. I need to remember because He has been faithful in the past, then He will continue to be faithful in the future. God’s character does not change.
Laying cares and concerns at Jesus’ feet isn’t always easy, but He promises to carry our burdens for us. He offers peace and rest, instead of the weight of weariness.
1 Peter 5:7 NIV says, “Cast all your anxiety on Him, for He cares for you.” Matthew 11:28-30 tells us His burden is easy, His yoke is light, and we find rest for our souls when we come to Him.
