Falling Into Doubt

Ever wonder why Abraham and Sarah laughed when baby Isaac was born? In their old age, they didn’t believe it was possible to have a child, yet God kept his promise to them. He keeps His promises to us, too.

It’s easy to fall into doubt and questioning God when things do not turn out the way we had planned.

None of us ever imagined a marriage that would include betrayal or possibly end in divorce.

However, God’s promises are not short-lived and we need only look to our past to see God’s faithfulness. In our times of weakness or faithlessness He comes to us. We never need to live in fear or doubt , because He gives reassurance we will have joy and laughter again.

“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God, for he hath clothed me with garments of salvation, he had covered me with the robe of righteousness.” Isaiah 61:10
