Their response came from a faith by seeing God’s repeated promises and fulfillment. They trusted God to keep His word, and He did.
During times of trouble and doubt we can rest assured God is with us. He will take care of things. He will make them work out for our good, because He promised. All this betrayal stuff? We can laugh without fear of the future, when we know who holds our future.
