U-turns Permitted

I read a post about being allowed to change our mind. I liked it! If we want, we can even do a 180° turn.

We always have a choice. Even doing nothing is still a choice. What worked in the past may not be working now. As we learn and gain knowledge, we can choose a different route if we want, and it’s ok.

Where God is concerned, He is steadfast and unchanging. In Numbers 23:19 it says, “God is not a man, that he should lie, or a son of man that he should change his mind. Has he said and he will not do it? Or has he spoken, and he will not fulfill it?”

I’m grateful for freedom to change my mind, but even more grateful God doesn’t change His. He is reliable, dependable, trustworthy. His Word and promises are sure and unshakable. Firm to the end—unwavering.

Because His character never changes, we can ALWAYS count on Him to keep His Word. There is no one else like Him. We can rest assured He will never leave, betray, or forsake us.

I was trying to comment on your last post but didn’t see a button to click on to send it.  I’m grateful for U-turns at those times I’m going full speed in the wrong direction. Glad I can change my mind – I’d BETTER change my mind! (Thta’s what “repent means, right?) Blessings, Annie
