How many times do we cave when our heart is gripped with fear? How many times will we substitute the next closest thing as our “go-to” instead of our Bible?
Now more than ever, it’s easy to give in to fear. But look around- how are the people who are resilient making that happen?
How are they able to persevere under the stress? More often than not, the resilient are clinging to an anchor of hope. And the one who anchors them is Jesus.
Don’t give in to the world’s chaos and throw in the towel so soon. We have a mighty God who comes to our rescue if we would only acknowledge Him.
Don’t let a day go by without seeking his guidance and wisdom. You will be amazed at the benefits and blessing you will receive.
God of mercy, hear our cries of help. Don’t let a minute go by without reminding us of your presence. “Oh Lord, You are great, mighty, majestic, magnificent, glorious, and sovereign over all the sky and earth! You have dominion and exalt Yourself as the ruler of all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11 Amen.
