How Has God Protected You?

In an episode of Sthisel, a father and son are taking a shuttle bus to the son’s new yeshiva (school).

During the ride, to keep them from looking at secular women, the father wisely removes his own eyeglasses and places them on his son.

This protective act causes both to have blurred vision, preventing harm from either one falling into temptation.

Our heavenly father has ways to keep us safe, yet we often go around the guidelines He’s provided. When we think we know best—better than God—we get into trouble.

Ponder how God has protected you, thank Him for knowing what’s best, and choose holiness.
