Ever seen someone get angry? I mean REALLY angry? Eyes bulging, nostrils flaring, face-turning-red kind of angry?
Ever wonder what God looks like when He gets angry?
In Psalm 18 we get a glimpse of just how angry God gets when we are in distress! When his believers are in trouble, he makes the earth reel and rock! The foundations of the mountains tremble and quake because of His anger!
And after the foundations of the world are laid bare at his rebuke, (because of the height of His anger towards our enemy) He swoops down from on high and rescues us, His beloved. He is loving, yet just. Nothing gets past God!
