Time for Reflection

We need time to rest and reflect but as necessary as this is, we can end up feeling guilty for not being “productive“. 

“The man who makes me his refuge will inherit the land and possess my holy mountain.” Isaiah 57:13b

It’s interesting how sometimes things—even good things—easily get priority. 

It may take a cataclysmic event—like infidelity—to get our attention, and other times it’s more of an emptiness or discontent we can’t put our finger on. 

I was determined to clear out the noise, the obligations, and the expectations to simply wait and worship. 

Trusting Jesus, rather than ourselves, brings restoration. Sometimes, we need to be still.
