Feeling faint. We’ve all had these times. It may be due to hearing sad news—like the Uvalde, Texas shooting on Tuesday. Danger, exhaustion, worry, and sin weigh on us. Our positive outlook switches to “I can’t do this.”
When the weight is too heavy to bear alone, it is exactly in these times we need to remember Jesus carries our burdens for us. “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you.” (Psalm 55:22)
When we feel weak from ongoing effects of betrayal, His strength is made perfect in us. We are being renewed day by day.
(2 Corinthians 4:16)
And what is our source of strength? God’s mighty Word. It is the remedy we need to persevere. It provides sustenance for the journey. Have you filled your tank today?
Fill yours, then pray for someone you know who feels faint.
