Temptation has a loud voice for a wife facing trauma from betrayal. It says, “Life is too hard. It doesn’t matter. Feel better now—find an escape. Give up because God doesn’t care, anyway.”
Our Savior has a louder voice, if we are willing to listen. He says, “My grace is sufficient for you. I love you as you are. Nothing can separate my love from you. You are beautiful; a masterpiece; more than a conqueror. Rest and find shelter in me. I offer peace, but not like the world’s—my peace passes and exceeds your understanding and expectations. Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden.”
The cure for anything—confusion, exhaustion, doubt, fear… is intimacy with Jesus. “Come away with me” He says.
Who will you listen to today?
