Cry Out

“Unto you O Lord, do I lift up my voice.

Unto you O Lord, do I lift up my voice.

O My God, I trust in you.

Let me not be ashamed,

Let not my enemies triumph over me.” Psalm 25:2

Has anyone heard this Psalm set to music?

In the midst of ongoing betrayal, we need God’s peace and comfort so badly. And, when we cry out to the Lord, isn’t it interesting how God is faithful to meet our needs exactly where we are at?

When I feel distressed, quite often a verse will come to mind—thank you, Holy Spirit. Many times a tune accompanies the verse.

Maybe I sang this in highschool youth group? Who remembers?! Anyway, I love how God creatively reveals Himself over and over. He is faithful to those who seek Him, and to all generations who keep his commandments. Amen!

“My blessing is on those people who trust in ME, who put their confidence in ME.” Jeremiah 17:7 NET
