Wow! Do you see the promise in this verse? There is hope! Sorrow being turned into joy!
God promises to restore what is lost and we will be able to have laughter and singing again. God is in the business of turning our ashes into beauty.
Do you believe this?
After experiencing betrayal—or sometimes while we continue persevering in a relationship,—hearing nothing but lies and deceit, we have a difficult time trusting others, including God. We gloss right over his words of promise.
